Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide inmate commissary products to purchase year-round as mutually agreed upon by both parties. All items offered must be approved by the County for content, cost, and packaging. Provider must obtain written approval from County to increase prices on any products offered to inmates for purchase. Provider shall offer a large selection of food, candy, nonalcoholic beverages, health and drug items, detention grade earbuds, as well as general merchandise, to include quality name brand products. Vendor must offer items to order that include options for inmates with special diets due to medical or religious reasons. Examples include but are not limited to low sodium, kosher, sugar-free, and gluten-free. All storage of items must be offsite at the expense of the vendor.
