Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removing and replacing the pavement, constructing P.C.C. curbs, remove and replacing pedestrian ramps, constructing sidewalk, and painting striping for the Fire Station #51 parking lot. The contractor will be required to maintain parking either in the main parking lot located on the northeast side of the Fire Station building (3” AC on 6” Base Section of Plans) or at the employee parking lot located on the south side of the Fire Station building (4” AC on 8” Base Section of Plans) at all times. This will require phasing of both demolition and paving operations. The city will allow for parking on compacted base if requested by the contractor; however, ADA routes shall be accommodated by the contractor as much as possible.
