All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Vendor shall furnish all labor, all additional materials, tools, equipment, supervision and all necessary incidentals for the completion of this work, except as otherwise provided in this Scope of Work. 2. Seat Back and Barrier Backs: Remove upholstery and staples or glue from backrest cushion. Custom template pattern is to line up with green and blue logos on fabric as on original. Vertical orientation of fabric pattern must match. Sew up new seat upholstery with Community Transit supplied fabric as on original design. Reinstall with galvanized staples or glue and trim excess material. 3. Seat Bottom: Remove upholstery and staples or glue from lower seat cushion. Custom template pattern is to line up with green and blue logos on fabric as on original. Vertical orientation of fabric pattern must match. Sew up new seat upholstery with Community Transit supplied fabric as on original design. Reinstall with galvanized staples or glue and trim. 4. Damaged Seats: Vendor will not need to reupholster damaged seats. If seat clip receptacles are broken, they are no longer usable and will be replaced. If damaged seats are discovered report to Parts personnel within 24 hours. The Parts department will maintain an adequate number of spare seats to replace seats that are damaged. 5. All fabric will be provided to the Vendor on an as-needed basis by Community Transit. Limited supplies of fabric will be issued to the Vendor to keep at their business for use on current orders. The bulk of the fabric will remain onsite at Community Transit. Fabric is issued in rolls. Roll dimensions are 6’ wide by approximately 28 yards. 6. The Vendor shall provide the labor involved with preparing the seats for transport (i.e., packaging, boxing, palletizing). Community Transit’s Parts Personnel will verify quantities leaving and arriving at the receiving dock. Should a pallet be used, Community Transit will provide a forklift and driver for loading and unloading. Otherwise, the Vendor shall load and unload the seats.
