Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide water testing analytical services and reporting within, but not limited to these three programs. 2.1.1. Drinking Water –Transient Non-Community Public Water Systems including source and distribution monitoring. The laboratory shall be certified for drinking water analyses by the Vermont Department of Health. The certifying authority in Vermont for both in-state and out-of-state laboratories is the Vermont Department of Health. 2.1.1.1. Annual source testing 2.1.1.2. Monthly distribution testing 2.1.2. Domestic Wastewater – Including testing associated with Indirect Discharge Permits and treatment lagoons. All wastewater and groundwater sampling, preservation, handling and test procedures used to comply with the monitoring requirements shall conform to procedures specified in the most current edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater APHA-AWWA-WPCF, and Vermont Water Quality Standards. 2.1.2.1. Indirect Discharge (Chain of Custody Required) 2.1.2.1.1. Underdrain 2.1.2.1.2. Monitoring wells 2.1.2.1.3. Influent 2.1.2.1.4. Effluent 2.1.2.2. Periodic pump out grab sample for effluent removed from composting units or holding tanks from facilities in Northern Vermont 2.1.3. Recreational Swim Water – Including Bacteriological testing with MPN values 2.1.3.1. Weekly E. coli
