Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NDDEQ is sampling various media for per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This includes domestic wastewater influent, domestic wastewater effluent, domestic biosolids, industrial effluent, soil, fish tissue, ambient groundwater, and ambient surface water. Sampling will occur in conjunction with routine monitoring and inspections, which will result in a small number of samples being collected at a time. The NDDEQ anticipates collecting 155 primary samples (125 water samples, 20 fish tissue samples, 2 soil samples, and 8 biosolids samples). In addition, the NDDEQ standard operating procedures require duplicate and blank samples for 10% of samples collected as part of the quality assurance processes. This works out to 13 duplicate water samples and 15 blank samples, and two (2) duplicate fish tissue samples, for a total of 185 total samples. Laboratory needs to be accredited to run EPA draft method 1633. PROOF OF ACCREDITATION MUST BE PROVIDED WITH THE BID RESPONSE. Laboratory will analyze samples for all analytes accredited under EPA draft method 1633. Laboratory will provide sample containers to the NDDEQ.
