Specifications include, but are not limited to: Site Inspection: The Contractor should inspect the project site in the field prior to preparing their bid. Contractor is responsible to verify pipe diameters, pipe lengths and pipe depths prior to ordering materials. The City of Wichita will not be responsible for unusable material ordered by the Contractor. Pipe installation will be paid as bid and there will be no additional costs paid for variances to pipe size, length or depth.; Sewage Disposal: Contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of any debris or liquid waste pulled from the sewer line during construction and for all costs associated with the disposal.; Sanitary Sewer Encasement: If the required 2’ clearance between the sanitary sewer line and the water line between Stations 0+00 and 0+20.00 and Stations 5+00 and 5+28.20 cannot be met, the SS must be encased.
