Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Contractor shall mark each work area with ample warning signs and barrier tape marked with “Caution” that meets OSHA 1910.144 Standard. b) Contractor shall install barriers of 6-mil polyethylene sheeting (poly) on all potential air passageways, including but not limited to, windows, vents, and doorways. c) Contractor shall install drop cloth barriers and 6-mil poly below points of access to collect any debris and protect workstations from mold. d) Contractor shall High Efficiency Particulate Air [filter] (HEPA) vacuum all mold, wipe down all file folders and cover affected shelves with 6-mil poly to ensure that the area is protected from mold. e) Contractor shall wet wipe all walls, the ceiling, all furniture and floors and HEPA vacuum each area. f) Contractor shall clean and disinfect all hot and cooling coils, fan housings, fan cages, and interior cabinet, including condensate pans. g) Contractor shall clean and disinfect the Air Handling Unit (AHU) utilizing minimal chemical washing, HEPA vacuum, and an anti-microbial agent. h) Contractor shall collect by vacuuming with a HEPA vacuum all debris generated. i) Contractor shall clean and disinfect the supply and return air plenums in the same manner as the AHU. j) Contractor shall clean the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit, including the coils, air ducts, and motor. i. Contractor shall install and seal a double-walled, insulated sandwich access door and/or sheet metal blanks of equal characteristics where accesses are cut, then re-install insulation and reseal. ii. Contractor shall access all trunk lines through holes cut in the duct exterior and current openings (including but not limited to register boots) to allow cleaning. iii. Contractor shall access and clean smaller ducting utilizing mechanical agitation, negative pressure, air rinsing, and sanitization. iv. Contractor shall access and clean flex ducting. v. Contractor shall HEPA vacuum and disinfect internal and external insulated trunk lines.
