Specifications include, but are not limited to: Requesting bids for the application of fertilizer and herbicide combination on ten (10) fields totaling 306 acres. Fields will be tilled following bidder application. Nine (9) fields are located near the K-State Dairy Teaching and Research Center, 3161 Animal Science Rd, Manhattan, KS. One (1) field is located on Knox Lane, Manhattan KS, approximately 4 miles away. The successful bidder must supply and apply the requested amounts of fertilizer and herbicide to all fields. The approximate date of corn planting will be April 20, 2023 for most fields. Upon award, the application timing will be an agreement between both parties. A Post application of herbicide may be required on all fields or a combination of fields or when corn is 8 to 12 inches tall.
