Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Albuquerque is requesting bids from manutacturer authorized service and repair providers for Service and Repair for various brands of lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed eaters and other two (2) and four (4) cycle small engine equipment in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications set forth herein. The City intends to establish a Service Agreement(“Contract”) for Service and Repair of various brand lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed eaters and other two (2) and four (4) cycle small engine equipment. Awarded Bidder shall respond and supply any parts or begin any service required during regular business hours (8:00 AM through 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) within 48 hours or less. 3.2.1 Awarded Bidders shall allow City representatives to deliver and pick up small engine equipment at Awarded Bidder’s place of business, unless other arraignments have been made. 3.2.2 Upon acceptance of the equipment by the Awarded Bidder, service or repair shall take no longer than ten (10) working days to complete. 3.2.3 When a delay in repair will occur due to unforeseen parts that must be ordered or needed parts are on backorder, the Awarded Bidder shall immediately notify the ordering Department via email. 3.2.4 If a service or repair order takes longer than ten (10) working days and no prior arraignments have been made with the Department,the Awarded Bidder shall be considered non-compliant and its contract may be cancelled. 3.2.5 Any combined parts total over $50 used in the repair or service of a single piece of equipment shall require a written estimate. A Purchase Order will be issued by the City for all written estimates for services/parts that the City wants to accept.
