Specifications include, but are not limited to: OTERO COUNTY IS REQUESTING BIDS FROM VENDORS TO SUPPLY DUMPSTERS AND GARBAGE SERVICE FOR SEVEN (7) OR MORE COUNTY BUILDINGS. THIS WILL BE A ONE YEAR CONTRACT WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR AN ADDITIONAL THREE (3) YEARS, NOT TO EXCEED A TOTAL OF FOUR (4) YEARS. DUMPSTER PLACED IN SERVICES AT COUNTY LOCATIONS MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION, NO RUSTED OUT OR LEAKING DUMPSTERS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR PLACEMENT. DUMPSTERS WILL HAVE CASTERS AND BE LOCKING AT SITES THAT ARE INDICATED. WHEN A SCHEDULED PICKUP CAN NOT BE MADE, DUE TO ANY REASON, THE CONTRACTOR SHOULD NOTE AND CONTRACT THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT THE SAME OR FOLLOWING WORK DAY TO RESCHEDULE THE PICKUP NO LATER THAN THE NEXT DAY. THE COUNTY WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY MISSED (AND NOT RESCHEDULED) PICKUP DURING A BILLING PERIOD. THE COUNTY SHOULD ONLY BE BILLED FOR THE ACTUAL NUMBER OF PICKUPS MADE. CONTINUED MISSED SERVICE SHALL BE GROUNDS TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT.
