Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Idaho Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance Division sends out approximately 4,000 claim determination letters in a year. (The number of determinations increases during economic downturns.) Labor currently uses an add-on to SharePoint (Muhimbi PDF Converter) to convert InfoPath forms to PDF. Because the software is integrated with SharePoint, workflows can be used to automatically convert these files after a specific timeframe has passed. Due to the large number of files and staff involved, it is important the process is automated and works with Labor’s SharePoint system, including SharePoint Designer workflows. This same process is necessary in SharePoint Online, connecting to Power Apps and/or Power Automate to convert to PDFs automatically. This solution works well for Labor and is seamlessly integrated into our processes without requiring significant IT staff time.
