Specifications include, but are not limited to: The state of North Dakota, acting through Rough Rider Industries (the STATE) is soliciting proposals for design, purchase and installation of wet and powder paint line equipment. RRI is soliciting proposals for the design, purchase, and installation of a powder paint line to include one wash tunnel, one dry off oven, one or two curing oven(s), and one overhead track conveyor system along with options for a new wet paint solution. RRI will be purchasing new equipment for this proposal. Offerors submitting proposals for purchasing used equipment will be rejected. RRI’s facility is located within the secured perimeter of a maximum-security prison located on the grounds of the North Dakota State Penitentiary. We are requesting the contractor provide all design, delivery services, and installation. In order to help control cost, RRI would propose one bid response option to include using available prison inmate labor for the installation of equipment. RRI is open to any suggestions that the contractor may have to improve efficiencies and workflow. The goal of this project is to provide a state-of-the-art wet paint and powder paint solution to RRI. RRI will be relying on a contractor to provide suggestions, information, and solutions for the latest technologies, equipment, and systems.
