Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of Phase I Request for Proposals (RFP) is to pre-qualify up to 3 design-build teams to participate in the Phase II Request for Proposals to design and construct the new Leachate Management System (Project) that will reduce volume, treat or sequester contaminants of concern (e.g., per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances – PFAS), and manage any resulting residual streams. The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is requesting qualification proposals from Design-Build Teams to design and build a new Leachate Management System located at MSB’s Central Landfill (CLF) at 1201 E 49th State Street, Palmer, Alaska. Construction is scheduled for 2024 and the project budget is approximately $5 Million. Selected teams will be invited to participate in the Phase II design.
