The Supplier must take samples of hemp lots in accordance with USDA Hemp Sampling Certification training, and any supplement training provided by GDA. Suppliers will also take samples of hemp products produced by permitted Georgia hemp processors in accordance with the GHFA and Rules. The supplier shall: Be contacted by licensed hemp growers throughout the state of Georgia to request official sample collection of their lots of hemp within 30 days of anticipated harvest. Suppliers may require licensed hemp growers to provide at least one (1) week of notice to the Supplier, but the Supplier will endeavor to take samples as soon as reasonable. Communicate actual or expected sampling and logistical fees to licensees in advance of sampling and may require prepayment of the estimated fee. If the Supplier requires prepayment of estimated sampling fees, and the actual fee is less than the estimated fee, the Qualified Supplier will refund the difference to licensee within 30 days.
