Specifications include, but are not limited to: The final document should meet all Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Minimum Standards and Procedures for Local Comprehensive Planning. The process shall include a thorough review of the existing plans and policies. The following plan elements shall be included but not limited to: 1. Community Goals 2. Needs and Opportunities 3. Community Work Program 4. Broadband Services 5. Economic Development 6. Land Use 7. Housing (Including Needs Assessment) 8. Transportation 9. Sustainability 10. Historic and Cultural Resources 11. Vision and Mission Statements 12. Character Areas 13. Future Land Use Map; The consultant will be expected to perform general administrative duties associated with the project, including progress monitoring, scheduling, and general correspondence. Progress Reports Submit progress reports to the City’s project manager on a monthly basis. Progress reports will briefly summarize work accomplished to date, progress of specific work tasks, key decisions that will require input or discussion with City staff, and a list of any significant challenges or unresolved issues. Project Schedule Prepare, submit, and monitor the project schedule. The project schedule shall be updated monthly and submitted with the monthly Progress report.
