Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Maine System is seeking proposals for the provision laundry equipment for the University of Maine’s Orono campus and family housing units, the University of Southern Maine Gorham campus, the University of Maine at Farmington’s residence halls, the University of Maine at Presque Isle campus, the University of Maine at Machias campus and the University of Maine at Fort Kent campus. At some locations, the use of on-line and off-line cards will be a requirement. There are also needs for coin operated equipment. In addition, the University of Maine at Farmington wishes to transition to “free play” I.e., including the cost of laundry in the residents housing fees, as opposed to charging per cycle (non-metered student payment option). U Maine (Orono) wishes to see pricing options for both free-play and for a new card system (KioSoft’s CleanReader Ultra LX)
