Specifications include, but are not limited to: nstall new electrical conduit, transformers, disconnects, and panelboards as shown on the electrical plans. 3.2 Install outside heat pump unit mounted to wall bracket at locations shown on the plans. 3.3 Mount indoor unit to wall near ceiling at locations shown on the plans. Use wired wall-mounted thermostat as specified on the plans. 3.4 Drill 2 ½” diameter hole as required at each unit for the refrigerant/power/control lines from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. 3.5 Connect outside unit to the electrical disconnect with flexible whip. 3.6 Connect refrigerant line to each indoor unit and check charge in system. Adjust to manufacturer’s specifications. 3.7 Once all equipment is installed and connected, startup each unit according to manufacturer’s recommendations. 3.8 Drain chilled water lines and demo all old HVAC equipment in the units. Cap water lines in the walls to ensure no water is leaking into walls or from ceiling. Disconnect existing chiller and hydronic hot water heating equipment once the new HVAC equipment is operating.
