Specifications include, but are not limited to: Via task orders, the Engineering Consultant shall design and provide KPU with Alaska-licensed professionally engineered & stamped construction sets of: a. Overhead electrical utility poles, lines, appurtenances; underground distribution and transmission systems; substations/switchyards; etc. b. Designs may include, but are not limited to: plan drawings; elevation drawings; pole typicals; loading and tension calculations; fusing; material lists. c. Field stake associated infrastructure points. B. Develop pole typicals and standards drawings with material lists, for related tasks. C. Develop single-line and three-line diagrams, plan views, and schematics of existing KPU infrastructure. D. Assist KPU with any/all necessary project permitting; Engineering Consultant may be required to function as KPU’s representative for permitting. E. Assist KPU with developing task-order work flow, such as cut-over plans, etc. F. Provide other supportive engineering needs (such as related civil engineering) and survey work as required for particular task-orders. G. Perform other related transmission & distribution engineering services. H. Provide KPU with annual rate and fee schedules. I. Travel to/from Ketchikan in support of task orders.
