Specifications include, but are not limited to: The annual service shall include the inspection, testing, certification and minor repair of the fire alarm system. The services shall comply with the 2016 edition of the National Fire Protection Association (“NFPA”) 72. All work shall be in compliance and shall incorporate the test methods outlined in Chapter 7 of the aforementioned standard. During the annual service, the Contractor shall perform all applicable inspections and testing outlined in NFPA 72 (2016) including those designated as weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. The Contractor shall replace all minor parts found to be defective during annual service at no additional charge to the City. Minor parts are defined as relays, lamps, and end-of-line devices.
