Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Idaho (herein referred to as the University and/or U of I) is soliciting proposals for Athletics team apparel. The RFP is being issued to contractors for the purpose of selecting a vendor for exclusive athletics apparel, footwear, and accessories. U of I intends to grant the selected vendor an exclusive license to use U of I’s name and trademarks to promote, market and advertise the sale of vendors’ products through various mediums such as, but not limited to, facility signage, posters, official game-day programs, web page advertising, schedule cards, etc. U of I will have an assigned company representative servicing the needs of the University’s intercollegiate athletic programs in a timely and professional manner. University of Idaho Athletics oversees 300+ Student-Athletes on the following teams: Men: Basketball; Cross Country; Football; Golf; Tennis; Track & Field; Women: Basketball; Cross Country; Golf; Soccer; Swimming & Diving; Volleyball; Items sought include, but are not limited to, game and practice jerseys, pants, practice shirts, hats, shorts, wind suites/travel gear, warm-up gear, travel bags, socks, sports bras, polo shits for athletics, coaches and staff. 1. Apparel to outfit U of I’s athletic coaches, players and staff members. Proposal may include a specific dollar cap and catalogs to determine the offer or, preferably, a team-by-team specific apparel offer to specifically address the needs of our Division 1 programs. Describe how your firm plans to provide exclusive uniform and apparel supplies for each sponsored intercollegiate athletics program, support personnel and support programs. Include information on how apparel items would be priced, e.g. a price list of typical apparel/uniform items or a description of the discount from list price.
