Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Homeland Security - Division of Administrative Services (DAS) is soliciting bids on behalf of the agency West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitations, Salem Correctional Center, and Jail to establish a contract for the removal and replacement of five (5) existing sally port gates and gate operator controls at the complex. 3.1.1 Contract Item 1: The contractor must remove the existing five (5) HySecurity slide drivers, gate operators and communications wire and install with new, or Equal. 3.1.1.1 The five (5) new HySecurity slide drivers must be 15-1 horsepower (HP), 240 volts (V), and three (3) phase power with twenty (20) amp breaker. 3.1.1.2 The Contractor must remove and replace all five (5) existing slide driver gate operators at the complex. 3.1.1.3 The Contractor must install and replace the new units in the same manor with all power and communication cables transferred over to new units. 3.1.1.4 The Contractor must replace all waterproof communication cables. 3.1.1.5 The Contractor must pull new waterproof communication cables from the operators to the control room and connect to the existing control panel. 3.1.1.6 The Contractor must set the proper open and close parameters for the new gate operators. 3.1.1.7 The Contractor must upon completion of the installation train the appropriate facility staff on the operation of the new system. 3.1.1.8 The contractor must dispose of the existing five (5) gate controllers and the control wires.
