Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Idaho State Veterans Home – Post Falls (ISVH-PF) is requesting quotes for the delivery of Milk products; For all items purchased on the Contract, all of the Contract’s product requirements, temperature requirements and Specifications must be met, and milk products must be delivered fresh, free of visible spoilage, contamination, rodents, insects and/or any matter which would render the product unsafe for human consumption. All dairy items must be pasteurized, Recombinant Bovine Somatotropin (rBST) and antibiotic free. All dairy products must be of Grade A quality. The quantities of the following items are estimates only. No minimum or maximum amounts are guaranteed or implied. Item 1. Whole Milk – Fresh Cows Milk, Pasteurized and Fortified with Vitamins A and D added. Estimated quantity of one-hundred and fifty (150) pints per week. Item 2. Milk two (2%) – Fresh Cows Milk Butterfat, Pasteurized and Fortified with Vitamins A and D added. Estimated quantity of one-hundred and fifty (150) pints per week. Item 3. Chocolate Milk – Fresh Cow's Milk, can be skim/low fat, one (1%) percent, Pasteurized and Fortified with Vitamins A and D added. Estimated quantity of one hundred (100) Pints per week. Item 4. Skim Milk – Fresh Cow's Milk, Pasteurized and Fortified with Vitamins A and D added if available. Estimated quantity of fifty (50) pints per week. Item 5. Butter Milk – Must be whole milk cultured. Bulgarian three-point five (3.5%) percent butterfat preferred but not mandatory. Estimated quantity of Two (2) each one half (1/2) gallon containers per week. Item 6. Heavy Cream – Must be forty (40%) percent milkfat whipping cream, fresh cow's milk. Estimated quantity of Two (2) – One (1) gallon containers per week.
