Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work for the 2023 MILL & FILL PAVING shall consist of, but not be limited to, furnishing and installing (except as noted) all materials labor and equipment necessary to resurface or rehabilitate streets or roads as listed, including: utility cover adjustments: water gate box lowering and raising, tack coat, shim, and overlay; driveway preparation and lawn and driveway restoration; pavement removal, common excavation, aggregate base gravel; erosion and traffic control and cleanup. BID ITEM A Challenger Drive, from Alfred A. Plourde Parkway to Cul-De-Sac: Scope: Lower and plate all manholes and catch basins, as well as lower all water gate boxes as needed prior to milling. Mill existing pavement at a depth of 2”. Remove all existing bituminous curb. Place a layer of 9.5 mm HMA Shim. Set utilities to grade. Install slip-from concrete curb, Mold 2. Place 12.5mm HMA surface at 1.5”. Perform driveway preparation as needed. Backfill and perform lawn follow up as needed. Approximately 2200’ in length. Atlantis Way, from Goddard Road to Challenger Drive: Scope: Lower and plate all manholes and catch basins, as well as lower all water gate boxes as needed prior to milling. Mill existing pavement at a depth of 2”. Remove all existing bituminous curb. Place a layer of 9.5 mm HMA Shim. Set utilities to grade. Install slip-from concrete curb, Mold 2. Place 12.5mm HMA surface at 1.5”. Perform driveway preparation as needed. Backfill and perform lawn follow up as needed. Approximately 785’ in length. BID ITEM B Geiger School – Access Road to Back of Building: Scope: Mill existing pavement at a depth of 1.5”. Box cut a small area near dumpsters to enlarge turning radius at 12” Add 12” of MDOT Type A Gravel. Pave 2” of base. Place 12.5mm HMA surface at 1.5”. Perform driveway preparation as needed. Perform lawn follow up as needed. Lewiston High School – Access Road: Scope: Lower and plate all manholes and catch basins, as well as lower all water gate boxes as needed prior to milling. Mill existing pavement at a depth of 1.5”. Replace culverts in 3 separate areas. Pave repair area with 2” of base pavement. Set utilities to grade.
