Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is planning to open a Customer Service Center in the city of Bogart, Oconee County, Georgia . In support of this project, the state has acquired property located right off HWY 316 with the main entrance to the property being located on McNutt creek Road. It is envisioned that this new center will be an approximately 8,000 sq.ft. facility with 10 to 12 issuance stations. The facility will have adequate space for queuing customer, and dedicated areas for 9 customer kiosk and 20 testing computers. The testing area will be designed in a way that will prevent noise from interfering with customers. It is also envisioned that there will be adequate space near the customer exit door for a self-service kiosk. The administrative portion of the building should be able to accommodate 3 offices, a supply closet, and other ancillary support space as needed. In addition to the building the site must be designed in a manner as to provide space for two basic skills test courses and one motorcycle test course that must be separated from the main parking lot with limited access. These test areas should be easily accessible from a covered area connected to the building for conducting car inspection prior to them entering the testing areas. The dimension for the basic skills test course is 50x100 and the motorcycle test course is 75x115. The testing areas must be designed to give testers the ability to enter/exit the testing area and maneuver around the course without difficulty. There will need to be dedicated employee parking with a minimum of 18 parking spaces and a minimum of 60 customer parking spaces.
