Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) Behavioral Health Services Commission (BHS) is seeking proposals by an organization that specializes in Behavioral Health administrative services. The Bidder will manage Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Problem Gambling (PG) treatment and recovery services. Services may include, but are not limited to, access to care, service planning/oversight, help lines for SUD and PG treatment services, provider network management and development, quality assurance and performance improvement, utilization management, grievance and appeals process, data collection and reporting, claims adjudication and provider claims payment. Funding streams to manage include: Statewide substance abuse treatment services for individuals identified with a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) who meet eligibility requirements for BHS Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SABG) Treatment Funds (funded by a combination of Federal SABG treatment funds and State funds) and COVID-19/ARPA Additional Block Grant Funds awarded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Statewide substance abuse services for individuals identified with a stimulant and/or opioid use disorder who meet eligibility requirements for BHS State Opioid Response (SOR) Treatment Funds (funded by the State Opioid Response Grant Fund)
