Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project involves removal and haul off of approximately 470 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from an existing in-line stormwater pond and improvements to associated stormwater infrastructure that service the Falcon Chase subdivision in Sandy Springs, GA. In addition to removing the accumulated sediment, the pond will be re-graded to incorporate a stilling basin, forebay, and a micro pool. The project also involves improvements to the pond outlet control structure, pond inlet pipes, pond inlet flume, and pond outlet pipe. The main pond inlet pipe (60” reinforced concrete) that crosses under the Glenridge Connector will be spot repaired with injection grouting. The outlet control structure outlet pipe (60” corrugated metal pipe) will be lined and spot repaired with injection grouting. Some additional new drainage infrastructure and retrofits will be added to the pond, and all existing pond infrastructure will be cleaned and unclogged. Selected trees within the existing pond maintenance easement and within the flume easement will be removed.
