Specifications include, but are not limited to:• New Castle County will collect and provide the Vendor samples from approximately 12 discreet locations in our sanitary sewer system. The number of locations may change. • Samples shall be collected and shipped on a weekly, or twice weekly basis as determined by the County and the Vendor. • Analysis for high-risk substances will be by LC-MS/MS (liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry) and will target the parent drugs and metabolites of the following substances: o Fentanyl o Cocaine o Methamphetamine o Nicotine o Other additions possible during program administration • Data will be shared via a monthly PDF report, with other delivery formats possible upon mutual agreement. • Results will be presented as mg/ 1000 people/ day • Vendor will include all shipping and materials and bear all costs necessary for safe transport of samples to the Vendor’s lab. • The Vendor will provide the County access to their epidemiology, data, and customer success teams for troubleshooting and understanding the data.
