Specifications include, but are not limited to: LOCATION FOR PORT-A-POTS: City of Augusta Parks and Cemeteries Augusta Public Schools Athletic fields and other locations as identified CARA Complex on Piggery Road; Special Events and tournaments each year: o Each year the three organizations in addition to their “normal” needs and schedule for port-a-pots host various weekend and week-long special events such as baseball and softball tournaments. o These special events require additional port-a-pots in varying quantities depending upon the special event and organization. o In addition to the special events identified in the scope of services provided in this document there may be other occasions and events necessitating additional port-a-pots be provided. o Port-A-Pots placed for extended periods of time are to be cleaned and serviced once a week. The cost for this service is to be included as part of the monthly rate service. o Service to include: Pump out the holding tank Replace toilet paper Structure inspected and cleaned if necessary Hand Sanitizer provided and filled as needed; Response to requests for service: o As needed the service provider may be called to service a port-a-pot due to upcoming events such as tournaments necessitating clean and adequate facilities be provided and or the port-a-pot has filled up prior to the normal service schedule. Vandalized Port-A-Pots o To be included in your bid is your policy regarding the vandalizing of port-a-pots such as tipping over, setting on fire and any other damage that may occur. o Include the time frame to rectify a damaged port-a-pot from the point of notification. o Financial culpability o Cost to fix the immediate problem o Cost to replace a port-a-pot that is damaged beyond repair o Include any other applicable policies including insurance germane to this issue.
