Specifications include, but are not limited to: KUMC seeks to procure bids for On-Call Concrete Services; 1. Concrete work shall comply with American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards. 2. Concrete work will encompass both interior and exterior locations throughout campus. 3. Flatwork: new or tear out and replace, paving, driveway, sidewalk, patio, steps, curb and gutter, floor, and footings. 4. Wall: Stacked stone or concrete- integral, stained, and stamped. 5. Decorative Concrete: Polishing, stamping, integral, staining, dying, and antiquing. 6. Overlayments: Interior and exterior, broom finish, knock down, stencil, stamp overlayments, flake floor (chip floor), urethane, epoxy coatings, and polishable coatings. 7. Concrete delivery tickets to be provided upon request of the Project Manager. 8. Concrete will oftentimes require various types of reinforcement; whether it is steel rebar, WWF, synthetic fiber, reinforcing flakes – all at specific weights and strengths depending on the type of concrete and location to be placed. The project manager will outline the requirements on a project-byproject basis. 9. Contractor to provide their own core drilling.
