Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this RFI is to identify vendors and/or provider groups capable of supplying telepsychiatry services to Vermont EDs. Applicants may be invited to participate in an interview process following the closing of the application window. The initial scope of this project is to provide services to one (1) critical access hospital for a period of up to 12 months, with the potential to scale to other EDs in the state following the pilot period. Vermont EDs report approximately 9,250 mental health discharges, excluding substance use disorders, per year, among patients of all ages. The critical access hospital to be selected for the demonstration project is expected to experience between 170 and 370 mental health discharges in a 12-month period.
