Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide and furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and methods in connection with required demolition of existing ballasted/stone materials and installation of new materials for the replacement of an adhered rubberized sixty (60) Mil. EPDM membrane flat roof system at the Aroostook County Jail, 15 Broadway, Houlton, Maine. b) This location is a jail/detention center. Contractor and subcontractors shall not have interaction with inmates. i) This project roof has a concrete deck requiring an adhesive “glue down” installation; ii) Roof applicator shall be specialized in the installation of sheet roofing membranes with documented experience of not less than five (5) years and shall be a certified and approved manufacturer’s installer. Written certificate shall be provided by the Contractor to the Owner; iii) Project documents are intended to include everything necessary for the proper and entire finishing of the work; iv) All roof areas of this flat roof approximately two thousand five hundred and twelve square feet (2,512 sq’) are to have new commercial rubberized roofing and insulation underlayment, Contractor responsible for calculating actual square feet; v) The roof on the elevator shaft is included in this replacement project. vi) Provide any and all subcontract work, as needed. c) Actual measurements, sections, and elevations for the implementation of this project are the responsibility of the Contractor.
