Specifications include, but are not limited to: Greenwood County is seeking request for proposals from qualified single parties for the new installation of LED sports lighting, as well as LED-upgrades of existing sports lighting at the Greenwood County (or Wilbanks) Recreation Complex in Greenwood, SC. The sixteen (16) different fields or venues for the LED lighting can be found on the masterplan attached at the end of this document. The location of the proposed LED lighting work is known as the Greenwood Recreation Complex or the Wilbanks Sports Complex, located at 1552 Hwy 72-221 East, Greenwood, SC 29649 (Parcel ID #6856-662-667). 1.Greenwood County is seeking to upgrade its current lighting systems to LED on (10) existing softball/baseball/soccer fields, (6) existing tennis courts and install new LED systems to light (8) pickle ball courts and (4) new football/soccer fields. A successful RFP party shall coordinate its sports construction activities with the General Contractor (the J.D. Goodrum Company) recently selected for the installation of new fields, courts, and other renovations at the recreation center. 2.The bid shall be itemized as a cost per field and as a summarized total price (Exhibit A). 3.Greenwood County will reimburse all electrical and building (monetary) permits required for the work. However, such does not preclude inspections and other documentation required to initiate and complete this work for Greenwood County. 4.Each bid should include narratives describing both the electrical contractor company and the LED sports lighting manufacturer. Specifications sheets of all lighting material used for upgrades and new sports field/venue installations should also be included. At a minimum, include manufacturer’s spec sheet and description of LED fixtures, galvanized poles, SPD’s (surge protection devices), electrical panels, conductor types, pole grounds, and pole located lightning protection systems. 5.Include AGI32 photometric design for each sports field, including tennis and pickle ball venues. If a field has similar outfield dimensions as another (within 10ft), one design is appropriate but copy in the RFP and label as “duplicate from another field”. All designs shall meet IES recommendations of Little League and SCHSL play; softball and baseball @ 30/50FC (2.5:1 outfield, 2:1 infield uniformity), football and soccer @ 50FC (2:1 uniformity), tennis @ 40FC (2:1 uniformity) and Class II recreational pickle ball @ 30FC (2:1 maximum uniformity). Use .95 LLF, maximum rate of FC change 10% per 10ft and plot FC’s using 20ft X 20ft grids for sports field designs. As shown on RFP bid attachment, also insert the ‘KW connected load’ of each sports field/venue obtained from the photometric designs.
