Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Rhode Island Division of Purchases, on behalf of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance and The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation collectively referred to as “the State” hereafter, is seeking proposals from qualified OPM firms to provide services for a new laboratory building for the RISHL to continue rapid response to increasingly complex threats to public health, and to keep pace with emerging scientific technologies. Aging infrastructure, substandard life-safety systems, poor ventilation, and a building design that is unfit for modern, competitive research are significant challenges within the current facility. The OPM will work with the State of Rhode Island and the selected Developer for the duration of construction through project closeout.
