Specifications include, but are not limited to: To provide rental services for decorative potted plants, plant maintenance, and watering services, on an as needed basis for the various City agencies on the island of Oahu. The City’s Office-in-Charge (OIC) shall be determined prior to the issuance of the Delivery Order (DO). The City intends to use this agreement for the following: Potted plant rentals for City events, facility beautification, barriers, and partitions for City functions. Delivery, set up and removal of rented plants. Maintenance and watering services for long term plant rentals. The primary objective of plant rental services is to provide decorative potted plants to beautify and enhance City and City sponsored or co-sponsored events island-wide. The Contractor shall use standard horticulture and floriculture practices that improve the overall aesthetic appearance of the events. 1. Price for plant rental services shall be based on per plant, per day and shall include the delivery, set up, pick up of the plants and all applicable taxes. All prices shall be based on the awarded rates for plants and man-hour rates in Appendix C: Pricing/Certification. 2. All plants shall be well established, thriving, healthy, and vigorous. 3. All plants shall be potted in containers that are clean, weed free, and top-dressed with mulch, cinder, etc. All containers shall have a label with the Contractor’s name, address, point of contact, and phone number. The label shall be visible on the container, but obscured enough so as not to affect the aesthetic qualities of the plant.
