Specifications include, but are not limited to: Site verification of existing systems in order to fully understand existing conditions as related to the work indicated on drawings; Removal of central plant equipment and all appurtenances as indicated on drawings, including: Chillers (CH-1, CH-2), Pumps (SCWP-1, SCWP-2, P-2, P-3, P-4, P-6), Cooling Towers (CT-1, CT2), Exhaust Fans (EF-1, EF-2), Chemical Treatment System, Centrifugal Separator; Preserving existing pumps, VFDs, Controls, and Chemical Controller and returning to owner, all other equipment shall be disposed of by the contractor; Removal and capping of piping indicated on drawings; Removal of existing concrete pads and restoration of floor to match adjacent finish; Patching wall due to piping removal and restoration of wall to match adjacent finish; Removal of plumbing piping including waste, vent and water piping as indicated on drawings; Removal of electrical connections to equipment demolished under mechanical scope, removal of conduit/wire back to source, and updating panel directories.
