Specifications include, but are not limited to: Documenting and outlining permit application contents, requirements, and prerequisites including formatting and packaging protocols using existing resources and lessons learned from past project permit applications. • Verifying projects are properly formatted and designed to meet applicable codes and all information is accurate and complete before being submitted to DPP. • Developing guidance and other resources to inform applicants of these requirements prior to initial contact with DPP to be published on the DPP website and/or provided to applicants directly via email. • Developing training materials and providing training for county permitting agencies and permit applicants (e.g., developers, customer-sited solar PV installers, consultants), including but not limited to written guidance, training videos, online and in-person workshops, etc. • Describing the interplay between DPP regulatory processes and Hawaiian Electric reviews (e.g., interconnection, power purchase agreements). • Assisting with addressing plan corrections provided by DPP for individual projects and installations. • Reviewing plans for the customer-sited PV industry to submit with applications. • Monitoring the status of permits. • Providing technical assistance related to customer-sited PV industry needs and DPP permit requirements. • Other tasks determined by HSEO, DPP, and/or the Contractor that will facilitate county permitting
