Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is requesting proposals from qualified General Certified Appraisers with certification issued by the New Mexico Real Estate Appraisers Board to conduct eminent domain and real property valuation and feasibility services. These services will be performed in connection with the Department’s acquisition and disposal of real property, including the disposition of excess right-of-way and non-essential real property. This is an On-call contract, task-order based. Assigned work will be for a variety of property types and locations statewide. Render professional valuation services, based on Assignment Conditions, which may include the following: • Preparation of appraisals, written compensation estimates. • Evaluation and market studies. • Preliminary research and analysis of project market areas, properties, ownership data, and credible closed sales data in a nondisclosure state, alignment alternatives, impacts and costs. • Appraisal review and reviewer’s conclusion of value if deemed necessary • Consultation with the Department’s Right of Way staff including the valuation staff, acquisition staff, and legal staff.
