Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform site survey and develop associated plans. 2. Create conceptual site and utility plans for initial MVRTD review. 3. Develop civil plans and specifications for permitting, bidding, and construction of the bus storage facility and demolition of the residence. 4. Coordinate design efforts with the MVRTD project team. 5. Work with MVRTD project team to manage any necessary value engineering. Define Add Alternates and Deducts for the Invitation for Bids (IFB) so that MVRTD is delivered a Bid within their financial means. 6. Perform construction administration for the civil portions of the project. a. Review bids and make contractor selection recommendations. b. Attend weekly project meetings during the civil construction portion of the work. Assume 12 meetings-6 attended in person, 6 attended remotely. c. Review and respond timely to RFIs during the bidding and construction phases. d. Review work in place for quality and adherence to contract documents. e. Review contractors change orders. 7. Prepare all civil-related local, regional, and state permit applications. MVRTD will pay all permit fees. 8. Conduct traffic study if required by permit application process. (Provide ADD ALTERNATE pricing for this effort). 9. Attend local, regional, and state agency, board and commission meetings as required to support the permit application process. 10. Attend project meetings to facilitate coordination of design, assume four in-person meetings with the remaining meetings conducted remotely.
