Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MSU Fire Services Training School is soliciting bids for a Mobile Fire Service Roof Training Prop that will allow fire fighters in Montana to practice roof operations and second story search and rescue. The Prop will be used throughout the State of Montana and must be towable with a ¾ ton pickup truck. Must be mobile, towable with a ¾ ton pickup truck. Must be on a on a purpose-built tandem axel trailer with at least 6K axels, aluminum 8 lug wheels, 10 ply tires, and electric brakes. Must include a matching spare tire. The prop will be purpose built for roof operations and second story rescue training. The trailer will have a load distribution hitch system and a hydraulic tongue jack. The prop will weigh no more than 11,000 lbs. (unladen), with a tongue weight not to exceed 1,000 lbs. 7-pin electrical connection to the tow vehicle. LED signal, marker, and warning lights. 110V shoreline built into the trailer frame. The prop will have a roofing platform of 24 ft x 12 ft minimum. The width for transport shall not exceed 8 ft. The height for transport shall not exceed 9.5 ft. The platform will have safety chains or railing around the perimeter of the platform.
