Specifications include, but are not limited to: This proposal is intended to provide for the establishment of a contract to furnish Elastic to the Kansas Correctional Industries on a periodic basis during the contract period. Material provided shall be first class in all respects; seconds or flawed items are not acceptable. Additionally, quality consistency throughout the life of the contract is imperative to maintain the standard of product delivered. In the event the material is found unacceptable, Contractor agrees to bear all expenses for return of material and replacement thereof. Jersey Gray Fabric, Tubular Knit, Jersey (Ash Gray) - Tubular knit; 16/1, 50/49/1 Poly/Cotton, bleached, 6.5 oz/yd² (+/- .25oz) - Pre-shrunk (7%x7%) - The tube widths must be within 1/4 inch of the required measurements; - The neck band (collar) must be the same gray as the jersey knit. - Finish: Anti-curl finish - The fabric must be packaged in rolls and must be delivered on pallets, wrapped in plastic bags identified with the lot number, fabric width and number of meters per roll; - Material to withstand institutional laundering. Material is to be palletized on 40" x 48", 4-way accessible pallet, new or reconditioned. Material will be cross-stacked in alternating layers, and securely banded and/or stretch-wrapped.
