Specifications include, but are not limited to: The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for work to include curb and gutter, sidewalk repairs, and/or Bituminous Concrete milling and overlay. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. The Project Asphalt Cement Base Price will be the Delaware Posted Asphalt Cement Price in effect on the date of advertisement. All deviations of the Delaware Posted Asphalt Cement Price from the Project Asphalt Cement Base Price are eligible for cost adjustment. No minimum increases or decreases or corresponding percentages are required to qualify for cost adjustment. Actual quantity of asphalt cement qualifying for any Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustment will be computed using the weight of eligible asphalt that is shown on the QA/QC pay sheets as a percentage for the delivered material. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO MAKE GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS TO ROADS AND/OR STREETS WITHIN THE DISTRICT; THE COST OF CLIPPING BACK THE EDGES OF THE ROADWAY, SHOULDERS, AND THE FIRST 3' OF UNPAVED DRIVEWAY ENTRANCES, PICKING UP AND DISPOSING OF WASTE AND EXCESS MATERIAL, AND CLEANING THE EXISTING PAVEMENT PRIOR TO AN OVERLAY SHALL BE INCIDENTAL; PAVING IS TO BE COMPLETED CURB TO CURB INCLUDING TURN LANES AND INTERSECTIONS WITHIN SEVEN (7) CALENDER DAYS OF PAVEMENT MILLING FOR A PARTICULAR DAYS PAVEMENT MILLING LOCATION. THIS RESTRICTION APPLIES TO EACH DAYS PAVEMENT MILLING OPERATION, NOT AN ENTIRE PROJECT LOCATION. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN A SUSPENSION OF ALL OTHER CONTRACT WORK WITH TIME CHARGES CONTINUING TO BE ASSESSED.
