Specifications include, but are not limited to: Clean interior and exterior of the buses and trolleys on Sunday of each week. Interior cleaning must include: sweeping and mopping of floors, window washing, seat cleaning including stain removal, cleaning of seatbelt straps, dashboard cleaning, and trash removal. Exterior cleaning must include: power washing and drying, windows cleaning, and removal of bugs from windshields and headlights. 2. Clean shelters and remove trash on a weekly basis. Shelters cleaning must include: power washing and drying of benches, floor stain removal, and removal of any stickers or flyers on the shelters. 3. Respond to any emergency bus, trolley and/or shelter cleanings on an as needed basis within four (4) hours of request. Emergency responses may include glass pickup, graffiti removal and, in some cases, cleaning up biohazards such as blood and other body fluids. Awarded vendor will be expected to follow all federal, state, and local safety regulations. Soiled area or graffiti on shelters normally happens overnight and are not reported until the morning, therefor emergency cleanings for shelters are typically done inside of normal business hours. 4. Special event cleaning will occasionally be required and includes cleaning trolleys and/or buses for the following three (3) events: Riverfest (one 16- passanger bus), Luminaries at San Juan College (two 30-passanger trolleys), and Airport Tour (one 16-passanger bus). For special event cleanings the awarded contractor will need to clean the bus and/or trolleys the day before the special event.
