The existing 8” vitrified clay pipe leads from a sewer manhole in the north edge of the Montana State University Marsh Lab, to a manhole in South 19th Ave between the Lincoln St and Garfield St intersections, north on South 19th Avenue, and terminates in a manhole in the intersection of College St and South 19th Ave. Completion of this work will include pre-installation inspection, cleaning, CIPP lining installation, and service reinstatements. Resin used for the CIPP shall be non-styrene, VOC-free resin. Bypass pumping provisions and traffic control will be required for the CIPP work. All work will be completed within existing roadways, existing easements and/or within temporary access easements or occupancy permits. A section of the 21-inch sewer crosses under the railroad in an existing 40-inch casing pipe. The project also includes grouting the annular space between the 21-inch sewer pipe and the existing casing with low density cellular concrete fill (LDCCF).
