Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Hillsborough is requesting Proposals for the provisions of health care services to include medical and mental health services, dental services, MAT services, licensed health care personnel and program support services located at 445 Willow Street, Manchester, NH 03103. The Hillsborough County Department of Corrections operates a state-of-the art correctional facility. Our inmate population housed inside the facility includes male and female inmates who are awaiting arraignment, pre-trail and/or sentenced, administrative transfers from other correctional facilities. 5.1 Responsibility for medical care and related costs of the inmate commences upon the arraignment of the individual and/or physical commitment, receipt and acceptance of the body to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections. 5.2 Provider’s services shall meet the standards promulgated by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) for Health Services in Jails 2018 Edition. Provider shall, at its own cost, maintain and renew the NCCHC accreditation of the Jail’s Health Care program. This obligation shall include: providing written reports, on-site reviews, preparation of forms and applications and attendance at meetings as required by the Superintendent. Provider shall not be responsible for NCCHC requirements not under Provider’s direct control or within the scope of Provider’s services. Provider guarantees to maintain/renew the NCCHC accreditation for the Correctional Facility for the life of the medical services contract.
