Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1 –Planning and Community Engagement Early Start Up and Marketing/Timeline Month #1- 2 A. Create cost center and address any other basic start- up needs for fiscal processing B. Connect with Town Councils or local community members and key stakeholders on possible locations within two months C. Formalize a lease/purchase agreement that considers public safety, zoning, and bus route availability. D. Identify, review, and begin the certification process application with RICARES to meet basic NARR level IV safety standards for recovery housing E. Work to establish business agreements or MOUs with other recovery houses at a lower NARR II and III level, Crisis Intervention services, ASAM residentials etc. F. Post job ads for all positions G. Prepare draft promotional and informational materials suitable for print, broadcast and/or social media to promote and engage individuals that the Safe Landings program will service. H. Work with other entities to recruit participants across RI, especially targeted populations I. Establish on-boarding training program for new hires J. Contract with web developer to set up a website or add to other sites K. Reach out to potential evaluators on collecting data for future sustainability efforts
