Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) seeks a qualified contractor to handle all aspects of coordinating the creation of a virtual documentary series that will capture individuals with lived experiences and those with Developmental Disabilities/Intellectual Disabilities (ID/DD) and co-occurring serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) sharing their stories. The goal is to capture the interviewees’ experience with interactions with professionals such as health care providers, educators, or law enforcement professionals that could have been improved if the professionals were provided with proper training. The goal is to utilize the documentary series to assist the Council in educating and raising awareness of the need for training for all professionals who interact with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring serious and persistent mental illness.
