Specifications include, but are not limited to: NDSCS is requesting sealed bids to reroof the College Complex 36 at the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, ND. Complex includes six apartment buildings (two with side laundry bump out) located on the Wahpeton Campus. The combined roofs are approximately 16,500 Total sq. ft. and were roofed in 1998. a) Color: TBD b) Remove existing shingles down to deck. c) Inspect and replace rotten or damaged wood as needed. d) Inspect and re-nail any loose wood as needed. e) Install caulking where needed. f) Complete Alternate #1, if awarded. g) Install 6’ of Certainteed WinterGuard Ice and water shield at all gutter lines, rake edges, and valleys per manufacture specifications. h) Install synthetic underlayment i) Install Certainteed SwiftStart Starter Shingles along all gutter lines and rake edges per manufacture specifications. j) Install 30-year Certainteed Landmark Lifetime Dimensional Shingles per manufacture specifications using 1-1/4” roofing nails. k) Install Certainteed Shadow Ridge Hip and Ridge Shingles per manufacture specifications. l) Provide nails and other roofing supplies needed, per manufacture specifications. m) Install new pipe and chimney flashings.
