Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of JCW is to address identified illicit sources of directly connected rainwater/groundwater on private property that are currently draining into the sanitary sewer system. It is anticipated that infiltration and inflow (I/I) removal work will involve plumbing modifications both inside and outside of the designated private buildings to be identified by JCW. Types of interior I/I removal work may include, but are not limited to, indirectly connected foundation drains, and directly connected storm water sump pumps. Types of exterior I/I removal work may include, but are not limited to, damaged, or uncapped exterior private sewer lateral cleanouts, exterior stairwell drains, exterior driveway drains, exterior area drains, and directly connected gutter downspouts.
