Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construct Airfield Electrical Vault at Johnson County Executive Airport, Olathe, KS; 1. Site Plan a. The project is located at the Johnson County Executive Airport (OJC). The Contractor shall access the site from Pflumm Road as shown on the drawings and all construction traffic shall only use the routes on the drawings to access the site. Failure to use the designated routes results in removal from the project by the Owner. The Contractor shall stage and stockpile in the designated staging areas. No stockpiles are allowed on the existing pavements to remain. Damage to existing pavements to remain shall result in the Contractor repairing the pavement area to the satisfaction of the Owner at no expense to the Owner. b. The prefabricated precast concrete building shall be constructed on foundation in accordance with building supplier’s instructions. 2. Building Structure a. The project currently has the Base Bid prefabricated precast concrete building sized at 12’-0 by 16’-0”.. The Contractor shall submit shop drawings for the structure. b. Potential manufacturers have currently been identified in Specification Section 13 34 40 – Prefabricated Precast Concrete Buildings. Additional manufacturers may be considered by formal request. 3. Building Structure and Footing Design Requirements: Provide Prefabricated precast concrete building systems and foundations capable of withstanding the effects of the design loads within limits and under conditions indicated: a. Design Code and Load Requirements: (1) Structural designs shall be in accordance with the 2018 International Building Code and the amendments as adopted by Johnson County, Kansas. Loads listed below are in accordance with the 2018 International Building Code and ASCE/SEI 7-16.
