Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Goffstown New Hampshire Fire Department is seeking professional architectural and engineering service firms with prior public safety facility assessment and facility design, to provide a cost estimate to determine costs of bringing a fire station up to current fire, life, and ADA safety standards through renovation, or replacement of Goffstown Fire Department Station 17, located at 289 Tirrell Hill Road in Goffstown, N.H. 03045. This is a limited scope conceptual estimate and design project and not a comprehensive complete schematic architectural design project which typically includes architectural programming, site recommendations, schematic plans and elevations, design, review, and approval for a new fire station. The purpose of this project is to assist the Town of Goffstown Selectboard and Fire Chief in the future planning and decision-making process for the future funding for renovation or replacement of this facility as part of a broader Capital Improvement Program request. 1. The architectural firm will compare and contrast the current fire station condition to determine the cost and feasibility of maintaining the fire station by updating or adding fire, life safety, and ADA required safety features and upgrades, or the estimated cost of building a new facility. 2. The architectural firm will meet with project stakeholders to discuss the scope, proposed schedule, and process for the entire project. 3. A programming document will be developed from meeting with the Fire Chief in order to identify a space analysis document that specifies probable room and building size.
